Ruprecht Hermans’ practice focuses on European patent litigation in the fields of information, communication and computer technology. He litigates before the specialised patent courts in The Hague, the Supreme Court and the Dutch and European Patent Office. His experience includes defending against and preparing border detention measures and issues regarding the interplay between technology standards and patents. He negotiates IT agreements, assists clients in IT disputes and acts as an arbitrator in international IT-related disputes. Mr Hermans is particularly apt at assisting large international companies in litigation about telecommunications and compression technologies.
