The big day has arrived. IPBC Global 2014 kicks off this afternoon at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam with our opening reception. Then, tomorrow the programme proper starts at 9.00 am with a keynote address from Philips CEO Frans van Houten. We run through until early Tuesday evening. You can see the full programme here.
We have a sell-out crowd of 634 joining us for this year’s event, with delegates from close to 50 countries and all parts of the IP market. This diversity of backgrounds, perspectives and experiences should make for some fascinating debates and exchanges. In fact, walking through the lobby this morning I could see that the conversations were already beginning. I imagine that, as usual at IPBCs, a few deals are going to get done too.
If you are at the Okura, we look forward to seeing you over the next three days. If not, there’ll be reports on proceedings on the IAM blog and we’ll be Tweeting regularly using the hashtag #IPBC14.
